So the other day I was shopping with my sisters and came across some amazing glasses. First. They were sunglasses. Second. They were perfect circles and rather large. Third and best. They were rose colored.
Now you may ask, "Why is the 'third and best' that the glasses were rose colored?" Well let me tell you.
It began one day when I was talking to my dear friend B. Walker. In analyzing my personality, he said, "Deb, you see the world in one big happiness ball, you want everyone and everything to fit into it." (That is not a direct quote - but its close. Brian's words are too wise to put down directly, the computer would immediately implode from the power of it.) Brian is pretty close in that description. how close? Preeetty darn! (Name the movie!) In the last two months or so as Brian's words have sunk into my little heart, I think he's on to something. I do want to see the world through rose colored lenses. I tend to see things in a hopeful light. Optimistic, cheerful, happy, faithFUL view of the world. And for the many times when my view of the world is NOT optimistic, cheerful, happy or faithful, then I want to have the mentality where I actively choose to see things in rosy hues.....or tints, if you will. (ps. A tint is the original color or hue mixed with white to brighten the color, lift it up, add joy and hope and HAPPINESS!!!!!)
So here you have it. This is the first of many entries. Life is amazing...when seen through rose colored glasses.
and for the record. Pink is NOT my favorite color. Not even close.
deb you don't need to publish this comment...but you misspelled your blog title. It is glasses not classes. Trying to help you perfect this first post. I love you dear friend. Thanks for chatting with me today. You are a gem!
